Amy Butler: Birdie Sling Pattern

Have fun combining your 2 fave fabrics to make this roomy and pretty bag.

For a carry-it-all-including-the-kitchen-sink bag this is a very pretty design; best of all it's easy to put together. Perfect if you need to make a quick pressie or for bag making newbies. The pleated bag expands to hold loads of shopping, groceries, or college gear etc. and the wide fabric sling handles are comfy on the shoulders. Amy explains in her trademark simple-to-understand way how to achieve these design features, so you end up with beautiful bags minus the tears! Sewing pattern includes, full sized reusable pattern pieces, and measurements to create your own Birdie Sing. For materials list see below.
