A very clever tool for making 'invisible' pattern markings (for when chalk or pen is not suitable) and for making creases in fabrics. This hardened plastic tool has a fine edge that you press into your fabric to make an indentation mark (marks can be ironed out). Clover make some of the best quality tools and this is a tool that I use an awful lot. You might be thinking: 'Umm yeah, is this one of those: "what is this lump of plastic going to do for me?" kind of tools. But trust me, I only recommend tools that I actually use myself. This tool is the business for marking lines on your work, think marking: pocket divisions, placement of various features (such as pockets, fasteners. darts, centre points etc. It's also invaluable for pre-creasing fabrics for when you want to fold your fabrics (for example, when making pleats use the hera marker in conjunction with the finger presser and you don't have to use an iron!) Happy days!
