Just what you need to make bags that stand up by themselves. This foam provides fantastic structure and protection to your project, but like foam it is also yielding, so it feels great. It can be used in place of or in addition to other stabilizers. Flex-Foam adds shape and body to projects such as computer cases, train-style cases, eyeglass cases, purses, tote bags, cup holders, nappy bags, and more! It is compatible with a wide variety of fabrics. Pellon even has a free foam project for you to try:The Campus Clutch
Please note this product will arrive folded - when you are ready to use it, the creases will iron out just fine! :)

Composition: 100% Polyester
How to use this product:
1. My preference is to trim off the seam allowance plus 1/8" (2mm) from the Flex-Foam pattern pieces, which makes for smoother seams.
2. Thoroughly iron your fabric.
3. With your fabric right side up, place onto the adhesive side of the Flex-Foam, cover with clean a damp cloth and iron using a wool heat setting for 10 seconds on each part (never iron directly on the Flex-Foam). NB: if using quilt weight, or lighter, fabric for your exterior bag, I like to fuse the foam to my bag lining fabric - this way should creasing occur, creases will be hidden inside the bag.
